Fringe Churches in the periphery of Seoul_Kuona Trust

‘Fringe Churches in the Periphery of Seoul’ is a photo documentary exhibition by Noah Miller, which seeks to examine the religious cultural and financial dynamics of non- traditional churches located along sixteen stations of Seoul’s #1 Metro Line.

The exhibition also explores the diversity of architectural designs that range from the traditional hanok style house-churches to the so-called mega churches that accommodate thousands of parishioners. In the process, the work questions the functions that churches perform in contemporary South Korean society.

Exhibition Dates: 9th April- 19th April 2015
