Yassir Ali Mohammed
Yassir Ali is a Sudanese artist born in Kasala, East Sudan. He currently lives and works in Nairobi, Kenya and has his studio at the Kuona Trust Art Center. Yassir’s art and style is inspired by the Nubian culture of North Sudan. He graduated from Sudan University for Science and Technology (B.A), where he studied fine Art. Some of Yassir’s achievements can be highlighted in projects he participated in that include the Nafage Art Workshop held at the Abd elKarim Mirghani Children’s Cultural Center (AKMCC) in Sudan in 1998. Yassir has also had the opportunity to Exhibit both locally and internationally from as far back as 1994.
