MARYANNE MUTHONI

Maryanne Muthoni is a fulltime artist, based at Kuona Trust Studios.She expresses herself boundlessly with thick oil paints on canvas, using palette knives and paint brushes.Maryanne is also a printmaker making prints on wood cuts. Colours play a special role in Maryanne’s art work, as she is able to express her self wholly to bring out personalities in the daily struggles and mood of life. Apart from her studio work, she participates in public projects using visual art as a tool of communication and educating the community, through murals.
