WYCKLIFFE OPONDO

Wiki is a self-taught artist from Nairobi, Kenya. He had his first exhibition at the age of 14, at the French Cultural Centre in Nairobi. After school he went on to practice art both in the studio and on the commercial market, doing work as an exhibition stand designer as well as commercial advertisement campaigns for various companies. He has also participated in a number of exhibitions, workshops and exchanges , both locally and abroad. He has worked mainly with paint on canvas as the primary medium, but also worked with junk sculptures.
