The Rift Valley Festival is one of East Africa’s largest annual three day music festival and this year it falls on the 29th– 31st of August, 2014. This festival held at the Fisherman’s Camp brings to you a live music experience right on the shores of Lake Naivasha.

For the fifth year now, the Festival celebrates globally sourced bands, musicians and DJs that makes Lake Naivasha come alive to the sound of diverse music styles and genres that create the greatest party in East Africa each year. It’s not just music- A true celebration of the rich culture and people of Kenya through the ever growing family of visual artists, poets, dancers and craftsmen that splash the festival with colour, energy, tradition and knowledge to make this festival so special and unique.

With ‘ART IN THE HEART’ as the theme for this year’s event, Kuona takes on a major role in the Festival activities. The extremely creative and talented Kuona visual artists will be on hand all weekend as they turn found objects and materials into a live canvas.  With the inclusion of art this year, we hope to make the festival explode with color, exciting interactive art activities and art installations. In this letter, I am hereby requesting your support to make all this happen.
