FRED ABUGA

Fred is a creative Kenyan artist who started art at an early age. His creations baffled his teachers and peers, who marvelled at his exceptional skill in fine art, while his contribution in the drama and journalism clubs earned him the title ‘chief artist’. He holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Buruburu

Institute of Fine Arts (BIFA) in Nairobi, Kenya and has participated in numerous exhibitions locally and abroad. His compositions are mainly done with oil paint on canvas but he is diversifying his craft and has ventured into mixed media collage constructions. Fred is currently working on a project inspired by classical music executed through mixed media constructions.
