KEPHA MOSOTI

Kepha Mosoti was born in Kisii, Kenya and studied at the Buruburu Institute of Fine Arts. Since 2008, Mosoti has had his work exhibited in a number of galleries such as Goethe Institute- Nairobi, Ramoma Art Gallery- Nairobi, The GoDown Art Center- Nairobi, The National Museum- Nairobi, French Cultural Center and the Village Market Nairobi. His work consists of semi-abstract paintings and mixed media sculptures that are mainly a combination of wood, metal and wires. Mosoti is inspired by shapes and objects and enjoys the connection that all these bring in his work. Mosoti uses art to capture life’s beauty and to make it permanent. This can be seen through his most recent works.  He has had his work published in the Star Magazine as well as the East African Magazine.
