PAUL NJIHIA

Paul Njihia is a self taught artist who started his art journey by doing portrait commissions in 2010 as a way of financing his student life. After completing school in 2013 he became a full time artist and joined Kuona Trust Art Centre in January 2014.

He was awarded as the most promising male artist in November 2014 in a competition organized by the National Museum of Kenya. He  has participated in several group exhibitions such as ISK FOTA 2015, Manjano Art show in March 2015 and Room for giants at the National Museum of Kenya in December 2014.

On the other hand he is also a successful caricature artist and has done live caricatures at events such as Up Live,  Rift Valley Festival,  Kuona Open Day,  254 Open Tournament and may others.

He is currently working on a series of paintings called ‘ Nairobi SiSiTV’
